Impressive Client Retention Rate
In an industry largely based on competitive bids, a high client retention rate speaks volumes about PHS' ability to respond to client needs while providing quality, cost-effective healthcare. PHS currently has twenty-two clients who have been with us for 10-20 years, and 19 clients with five years or more.

  Litigation Management
PHS has a strong litigation track record. In 2008, 97% of PHS cases that were closed, were closed with no indemnity payment. For the past eight years, 91% of our claims have been closed with no payment being made to the inmate. We consider this a testimony to the quality care we give, and the ability to stand behind our performance when challenged in court.

  Tangible Savings
During seven years of a statewide prison system contract, PHS realized over $62.5 million in healthcare savings while obtaining system-wide NCCHC accreditation for over 30 sites for the first time.
  Accreditation Rate
PHS has been successful at 100% of sites whose goal it was to achieve ACA or NCCHC accreditation. PHS provides services that reflect the standards of ACA and NCCHC whether or not the site is seeking to obtain or maintain accreditation.
