President, State Corrections
As one of three market Presidents within PHS, Larry Pomeroy, President, State Corrections is responsible for working with state prison systems across the country to determine how operational, clinical and management support/information technology applications are best adapted to meet the unique needs of these systems. Drawing upon internal PHS best practices expertise as well as national benchmarks, Mr. Pomeroy is responsible for driving the development and deployment of PHS’ services and technology to meet the continually evolving inmate healthcare needs of state prisons. He is also involved with business development efforts in the state market segment and works with operations and clinical leadership at PHS client sites to achieve contract compliance and client responsiveness.
Mr. Pomeroy joined ASG in 1998, bringing with him over 20 years of executive level experience in the healthcare industry with emphasis in hospital administration, behavioral health and managed new care. Prior to assuming responsibilities as President, State Corrections, he was Sr. Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for 10 years, responsible for all aspects of marketing, new business development and client retention. He previously held several positions with HCA Healthcare Corporation over 16 years, including Hospital Administrator, National Managed Care Director and National Product Director, Behavioral Health. Mr. Pomeroy earned a Masters of Business and Hospital Administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
